Abram is getting so chunky we are just loving it! He is also a lot more alert and smiley. Here are a few cute pictures of him.

He smiles so much now. We love his cute happy smiles; they put a smile on our face as well. 

Vacation

We were so blessed to be able to go on vacation for two weeks to visit my family. The first week was spent in Virginia and the second week in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We had so much fun and were really happy to see all of the Gobble and Yates clan. Here are some pictures from the trip:

Rolling over...

Abram rolled over last night for the first time. It was super exciting!

The first time took a while, but after that he rolled from his tummy to his back super fast. Then he got fussy and was finished playing.

Last week in Provo...

Mom flew in to visit us and help us out last week. It was awesome! We really enjoyed having her with us. A few monumental things happened while she was here:

1. Abram took a bottle for the first time! We were super excited that he didn't have problems with the bottle or nursing. Because of this mom was able to get up with Abram for at least one feeding every night. This was super duper helpful!! It was so nice to be able to get some decent sleep too because mom was so nice and would get up with him when he just didn't want to lay down in his bed.

2. Abram turned 1 month old!! I can't believe that our little baby is already over a month old. Its unbelievable how fast time flies.

3. Heather, Spencer, Jeremy, Kierra, and Makenzie came to visit us. Those are some super cute and well behaved kids and babies!

4. Abram's gotten quite good at holding his head up during tummy time and when we are holding him. Here's the proof:

5. Abram's baby blessing was on last Saturday (his 1 month birthday)! We were so excited to have some of my side of the family there in addition to Walter's family. And we were very grateful to everyone who helped make it such an awesome day!

6. Abram went to sacrament meeting for the first time. He was so good. He slept almost the whole time. He did get fussy toward the end but we gave him his bottle and he was happy once again (I get grumpy at church when I'm hungry too!). Here is his Sunday outfit from his mamaw (my mom):

7. On a lesser note...Abram decided to grow a little mullet. The picture is a little blurry, but if you look close in the back you can see the beginnings of a baby mullet.

Abram's Favorite Things...

The following are Abram's absolute favorite things to do (in no particular order):

Abram had to get a bilibed and biliblanket to help fight his high-ish bilirubin levels. This is a little hard because we are only supposed to hold him when I have to feed him. Otherwise, we are supposed to leave him in the bed as much as possible (which means all the time).

In the hospital...Day 1

This was just after his first feeding (I think).
